New David Foster Wallace

2 03 2009

The New Yorker has an in-depth essay by D.T. Max on David Foster Wallace’s efforts to complete his third novel, The Pale King before committing suicide in September of last year. It is a fascinating and illuminating read. As if that wasn’t enough, there is an excerpt from the novel entitled “Wiggle Room,” and Little, Brown will be publishing some version of The Pale King next year!
